With an arsenal of weapons at Sam’s disposal, players can face off against thousands of enemies and alien invaders. Choosing the right weapon among the range of guns available in the game can make the campaign delightful to players new and old. Here’s a rundown of every weapon in Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem.
12 Combat Knife
The combat knife is a melee weapon that is available from the start of the game. The lightweight weapon can be used to scratch and slay enemies at an extremely fast rate. Gnaars, Beheaded Rocketeers, and Sirian Werebulls are easy targets for Sam with a pair of combat knives.
Unlike guns, the combat knife can be used without the need to restock ammunition. Although it doesn’t do a lot of damage to enemies, the combat knife is a reliable weapon in close-range combat. Players can unlock the skill Healing Punch early in the game to regain health every time they use a melee attack.
11 C-4 Demolition Charge
C-4 Demolition Charges can be found throughout Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem. These portable explosives can be flung towards approaching enemies. After being flung into the air, these explosives can be detonated with a remote from a safe place. Players can carry up to fifteen C-4 Demolition Charges at any time.
These explosives have a small radius of impact, causing damage to nearby alien invaders on detonation. It’s always satisfying to watch Beheaded Firecrackers and Beheaded Bombers step on C4s and explode in their frenzy. Larger enemies such as Khnum and Octanian Zealout are harder to kill with this weapon, but will still take serious damage.
10 SBC Cannon
SBC Cannon is an artillery weapon. Players can mitigate waves of enemies with cannonballs that roll out on the ground and mow down multiple monsters with each shot. The heavy weapon is capable of destroying alien invaders such as Khnum and Draconian Burner. Since these cannonballs explode on impact, they can be a suitable weapon for mid-range combat.

The artillery weapon can hold more than 20 cannonballs. It has low accuracy and has increased damage. Cannonballs from the gun can move at a high speed. The biggest downside is that it has considerable recoil compared to other guns in the game.
9 MK III Grenade Launcher
The MK III Grenade Launcher is a versatile weapon that can be used to blow enemies up. The tactile weapon can be used at close and mid-range combat for the most accurate kills. The grenades from the launcher are controlled projectiles, and can be launched farther depending on how long the player holds down the mouse button.
These grenades have splash damage that can be resourceful while fighting hundreds of enemies. Alien invaders on foot such as the Octanian Commander, Octanian Gamma Trooper, and Khnum are easy to handle with the MK III Grenade Launcher.
8 SOP38 Pistol
The SOP38 Pistol is the first gun that gamers can play with in Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem. The handgun has an increased rate of fire and can devastate enemies at close and mid-range. Players can hold up to ten bullets per round, and the SOP38 Pistol takes less than 3 seconds to reload.
This weapon has a semi-automatic fire mode that can pierce through enemies such as Aurigan Haemovore, Aludran Microhopper, and Kalopsy. It has unlimited ammunition and can be used extensively in battles. It has decreased damage, but high accuracy.
7 Double Barrel Coach Gun
The Double Barrel Coach Gun is a shotgun that can be used to destroy enemies at close and mid-range. Shells from the shotgun have a spread, causing them to deal less damage as the enemies move away from the player. Players must reload their weapon after every shot, requiring players to move constantly in between battles to prevent damage.
Players can store more than 100 bullets, providing plenty of ammunition to decimate multiple enemies without having to rest. Shooting alien invaders such as Octanian Grenadier and Sirian Werebull can be more effective with the Double Barrel Coach Gun.
6 XPMR Burner Raygun
The XPMR Burner Raygun is a unique weapon that can deal massive damage to enemies. It shoots a line of fire that can extend outwards and burn monsters that it comes in contact with. The XPMR Burner Raygun deals damage per second and causes enemies to explode after being killed.
The long-range weapon can sabotage enemies that are over a mile away. It has an increased capacity for ammunition, capable of holding more than 1000 liters of fuel. Boss battles can be a lot of fun with the XPMR Burner Raygun.
5 XPML21 Rocket Launcher
The XPML21 Rocket Launcher can be found early in the game. It can be acquired at a hidden location in the first chapter of Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem. It is a long-range weapon that can blast rockets at enemies.
This anti-armor weapon can decimate alien invaders within a few rockets. It has a large capacity for ammunition and rockets can be found throughout the game. People can upgrade their XPML21 Rocket Launcher with the Multirocket ability that allows up to five rockets to be shot. It can also be used to track and terminate enemies that are on the move.
4 AK74MX
The AK74MX is an assault rifle that can tear enemies to pieces. The weapon has a tremendous destructive capability and is used extensively by Serious Sam veterans. Bullets shot from the AK74MX have a large spread, making it more effective at close and mid-range. Players can shoot three bullets at a time to increase the accuracy of the assault rifle.
For increased accuracy, players can click on the right button on the mouse to get a better aim at enemies. The AK74MX has a huge capacity for ammunition and can hold more than 460 bullets.
3 TCC-2 Perun Crossbow
The TCC-2 Perun Crossbow is an advanced weapon that is available in Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem. It can be found on top of a table inside the church in the third chapter of the game. TCC-2 Perun Crossbow has laser-like accuracy and can be used to strike enemies at mid and long-range.
Projectiles from the TCC-2 Perun Crossbow areelectrically charged and deal critical damage to monsters. It can also be used to zoom in on alien invaders for increased accuracy. TCC-2 Perun Crossbow can store more than 60 projectiles at a time.
2 12 Gauge Pump-Action Shotgun
The 12 Gauge Pump-Action Shotgun is among the earliest weapons that can be found in the game. Players can find it on top of a wooden box kept in the first chapter. The weapon is used frequently by seasoned Serious Sam players. It doesn’t have to be reloaded, making it suitable for sustained combat.

From Gnaars to Octanian Zealots, this primary weapon can be used to kill various enemies. Shotgun shells are widely available throughout each chapter. An additional grenade launcher can be equipped to make the weapon lethal to alien invaders.
1 XM214-A Minigun
The XM214-A Minigun is renowned for being held by Sam Stone. As one of the oldest weapons in the franchise, it made its earliest appearance in Serious Sam: The First Encounter released in 2001. Since then, the Minigun has been a part of Serious Sam: The Second Encounter, Serious Sam 3, Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope, and Serious Sam 4.
The Minigun can be used to annihilate enemies in the later stages of Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem. It can hold more than 1800 bullets and has a rapid rate of fire that can shred enemies at mid and long-range combat.
